Met the most amazing guy today. Well. 'Met' might be too strong of a word - it was more like, 'gazed longingly at as he played air-guitar and unashamedly rocked out to 3 Doors Down on the train'. But there was a moment!... Well. There was a moment for me. For him it may have just been gas.

Woefully, amazing Air-Guitar guy got off the train before I did, so there was a regrettable lack of things to stare at when we got delayed in Kaiwharawhara. Quitting my job when the new manager arrives. I know I say I'll quit my job, like, every two weeks, but being thrown into this two-week spiel as acting manager... I just don't have the patience to deal with the criminally stupid on at least a bi-hourly basis. If only I was just talking about our customers. Why must I be in charge of 8 people who were born missing essentials like 'common sense' and 'logic'.

God. I looked at my cellphone address book yesterday, trying to find someone to go and see V for Vendetta with me. Really need to clear it out. At the moment it is just a comprehensive list of people I have alienated.

Speaking of V for Vendetta. Went to see it for the second time last night. During the opening credits, was overcome by painfully strong urge to yell "V DIES!" I actually had to bite my tongue to keep from doing it. It hurt. There was blood. :|

Girls Aloud were fucking hot.

11 hour bus ride = too tired for long post, so. kitschkitti and starletbabe are awesome, in main fact because they actually didn't run when I started, like. Loudly reciting badfic from nifty.org at them while we walked to the bus stop. kitschkitti's sister thinks she's TOO COOL FOR POP so I spent half the night verbally abusing her, but she seemed nice enough. ;) There were these other three girls at the concert with us, and one of them whose name I've forgotten but it was possibly Mel, were all like "MCFLY POYNTERJUDD MCFLY GOD HARRY GOD TOM EAT SOMETHING GOD *OBSCURE REFERENCE TO MCFLY VIDEO CLIP* GOD DANNY MCFLY WOO" and when Girls Aloud were like "We definitely want to come back to New Zealand" she jumped up and yelled "BRING MCFLY WITH YOU" and I was like "GOD WHY DOESN'T WELLINGTON HAVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU THIS IS AMAZING". Basically pop fans in Auckland = pwn and I can't wait to meet up with them again.

One a scale of one to photocopier yesterday was pretty much the best ever and I miss sayafterme like I would miss my legs if I suddenly didn't have legs anymore. :(

Nobody admits to liking pop music until they walk into Starmart and hear it playing at full blast. The amount of 'Wow, I haven't heard this song in ages!' followed by bopping and singing along I got today was fantastic. pop music is awesome.
Ignoring that I have spent $280 buying stuff from Hot Sony Guy in the past three days (although as he pointed out, hopefully this new, working stuff will not 'do a Dick Smith'.)

So this afternoon I got home and found a text saying my mum had gone to Accident & Emergency because she was in too much pain to walk. It's nothing major, she has a boil (ew) or something on her leg and it was too painful to leave any longer. But she's going to have to have surgery for it, and so I thought I would stay home tomorrow and help her out since she probably won't be able to do much for a while.

Upon explaining this to my boss and asking her for tomorrow off, she sighed and snapped and told me that it was very last minute and next time I should have some consideration for the team.

YES. OKAY. NEXT TIME I WILL CALL YOU TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE OF MY MOTHER'S SPONTANEOUS SURGERY.

Please bear in mind that I get up at 4am every weekday to open the store at 6am, despite the fact that my boss lives less than 10 minutes walk from the store, that I work 10 hour days so she doesn't have to fill any more shifts, and on Saturday & Sunday I spend an hour on the train into town, spend an hour doing the banking, and spend another hour on the train back home, just so that she doesn't need to come in over the weekend. And, okay, I asked for these hours, and I really don't mind them mostly, because hey, I like money.

But I really would prefer to not have to feel guilty on top of being worried about my mother.

ETA: I had a go at her through txt and this is what I got back: 'i apologise bout wat i said and i appreciate u opening, u do alot, and i do know families r importants, i don't want this 2 ruin our relation, k?' and then i txted back saying 'thanks and i'm really sorry' etc etc and she txted and said 'that's ok, if u need more time off give me a call tomoro and we can arrange something, take care!'
